Morgan County Observatory

OBSERVATORY RENOVATION

Last Light - July 25th and 26th 9:00pm (weather permitting)

Last Light is your last chance to look through the Ferson telescope. Our Ferson Telescope is at the end of its usable life and will be replaced by a new adjustable height pier, a computer controlled mount and a 14 inch telescope.

We have acquired the pier but need to raise $23,000 for the mount and telescope. Your donation is greatly appreciated!!

Renovations are underway and are expected to be completed by the end of September. Planetarium shows will continue each month during the renovation.

All outside events are weather dependent so please check back the day of the event.
